School reopening news When will schools, colleges reopen
The COVID-19-induced lockdown, which came into effect last year, had forced educational institutions such as schools and colleges to close down in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Students have been waiting in anticipation since then for their schools to reopen. Twitter is flooded with questions about the reopening of schools by students from Karnataka, Punjab, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
While few schools had resumed the offline classes last year in November 2020, others decided to open it in February 2021. Since the COVID-19 curve in the country is on a decline now, states are expected to permit educational institutions to resume offline classes soon.
The first on the list is Himachal Pradesh, as the state on June 11 announced the opening of medical, Ayurvedic, dental, nursing, and pharmacy colleges in the state.
