Four warriors, JCO killed in experience in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch area
Four fighters and a lesser dispatched official (JCO) were killed after an experience broke out between the security powers and aggressors in Poonch locale's Dehra Ki Gali (DKG) region Monday.
The Armymen who were killed have been recognized as Nb Subedar Jaswinder Singh, Nk Mandeep Singh Vill, Sepoy Gajjan Singh, Sepoy Saraj Singh and Sepoy Vaisakh H.
Jaswinder, Mandeep and Gajjan hailed from Punjab. Saraj hailed from Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh and Vaisakh from Kollam in Kerala.
Armed force representative Lt Colonel Devender Anand said the experience is as yet in progress. The gunfight started after a cordon-and-search activity was completed by the Indian Army based on insight inputs in towns near DKG in the Surankote purview of Poonch region.
In the mean time, another experience was in progress in Chamrer woodlands along the Mughal Road in Poonch. Three to four aggressors are suspected to be caught nearby, sources said, adding that more fortifications of police and security powers have been raced to the space.
